Glacier Point Hiker's Bus

There is a bus that will take you round trip, or one way either direction so you can hike up from the valley floor and return by bus or ride TO Glacier point and hike down to the valley floor.  Hike this trail at either sunset (going down) or sunrise (going up) for the full effect.

However you do it, BRING LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER!!

To reserve seating on the bus, hikers must purchase tickets one day in advance.  Get them at the Visitors center or Curry Village.

Sentinel Dome and Taft Point hike Go Here.

This hike will reward you with some of the most spectacular vistas in the entire park.  It's an easy 1 to 2 mile hike, depending on which direction you go, that anyone can do.  If you hike the entire trail you'll walk about 4 miles total.  This is a perfect hike for small children (be VERY careful around the cliffs), seniors, etc.  If you REALLY want to be impressed, go to Sentinel Dome on a clear night for a jaw-dropping view of the stars.  By the way, every night is a clear night from June 15 until October.
